Welcome to PilotRouteWeather, a simple yet powerful weather filtering application. Ideal for flying those short haul multi-sector days, but also suitable for medium and long haul sectors alike.

No more reading lines and lines of those long TAFs - get the weather that is applicable to your flight quickly and presented clearly!

PilotRouteWeather presents weather in a route-brief format, with a METAR and a customised TAF that is filtered to your departure/arrival time. Your customised TAF will be presented clearly, as a short TAF, or as the whole TAF with the worst case weather highlighted. Crosswind components will be calculated for the selected runway.

Whilst many applications decode the METAR and TAF into plain English, and often display complex graphics, this can make the weather even more cumbersome and time consuming to read. PilotRouteWeather aims to take advantage of the brevity of the METAR and TAF syntax, to present relevant weather in a concise format.

PilotRouteWeather will estimate the time of arrival at your destination and alternate airports, using preset and user selectable speed profiles for quick entry. These times will be used to produce your short TAF - highlighting the expected worst case weather at your destination and alternates.

Time estimates can be overwritten by the user, so that the weather is filtered for the time that you specify. Define which cloud layers are displayed in the customised TAF. Do you want to ignore PROB30 TEMPO - no problem. You have total control!

Are you delayed on your departure? No problem. One click will increment your ETD and ETAs for your arrival and alternates airports, re-filtering the weather again for your new arrival times.

Easily create your sectors with minimal input. You can create a fly-out sector by just entering your departure airport, or add your destination and alternates as required.

Easily create a return sector with one click.

You can also save your home-base airport, and home-base alternate airports within PilotRouteWeather. One click will create a return sector back to your home-base!

Colour coded weather icons using user-selectable FAA or ICAO rules are displayed to facilitate weather readability.

Your previously downloaded weather data is stored offline for review when internet access may not be available.

Minimise your pre-flight workload! PilotRouteWeather is designed to give maximum output from minimum input. Get your weather quickly, presented clearly.
